Making a clothes rail from bamboo
You don’t need to run off to IKEA to buy a clothes rail as I’ve something better to show you (even if I love IKEA just as much as everybody else in the world!)
Today, I’d like to invite you to make your own clothes rail: solid, light and really very pretty. Even better, you can put it up and take it down as you like!

Okay, so here are the instructions. Once you’ve done all your shopping, put aside an hour to make the first one. And if your friends will give you a hand with the next one, it should only take you half the time!
1. Take 2m bamboo stakes for gardening, You can find them on the gardening shelf in your local hardware store.
2. Cut the stakes using a handsaw to the desired height and length. You just need to make sure that they’re the same size on both the left and the right.
3. Drill a hole in each stake where you’re going to put a butterfly screw. If there are two of you, that’s even easier and avoids a nervous breakdown!
4. After, all you need to do is assemble the clothes rail by screwing in the butterfly screws. These make it really easy to put up and take down.
5. To make a really solid clothes rail, place a bar across on a diagonal. On the photograph, you can see that I painted the cross bar in fluorescent pink. That’s the Cherry touch!
6. Then you just need to find some pretty hangers to make the most of your clothes rail! Â
Trop fun !!! je pense essayer mais pas sûre du résultat! merci
