Spring - Summer 2021
At La Cerise, looking at the world through coloured glasses is our speciality. So, to chase away the gloomy last few months, we’ve cooked up a collection full of pep!
Dressing the house full of cheerful and colourful linen and accessories, produced by craftsmen and without damaging the planet? At la Cerise
this puts us in an electric mood. A precious (and extremely contagious) commodity that we’ve slipped everywhere into this new collection. Stock up: we need it more than ever!
The "Cerise" style that we cultivate is the fruit of the creative duo that we have formed since we started out with Sandrine Place. Together, we co-create the collections, as well as a transversal identity from the colour range to the image. Our creative choices are shared and designed as a whole, just like telling a story!
Following our intuition and giving free rein to our creativity was our mantra, so we needed a return to the wellspring, to the source.
Enjoying a breath of fresh air in the great outdoors is what we missed the most during a spring spent in lockdown and these colours are at the heart of our collection.
NEW COLOUR & NEW PIECE
BERGAMOT & BOWLING
When it comes to beating the blues, our weapon of choice is called "Bergamot" like this vitamin-rich citrus fruit that you can now find during winter in all organic shops. This flashy yellow makes the heart lighter, we’ve replicated it in all our flagship products, bed linen, cushions, tea towels, bags, shopping bags and of course the pouches, in our 100% organic IONA signature fabric. We believe in colour-therapy!
To start moving, going out or travelling again, here is our new bag named "Bowling" (shout out to an instant stress relieving hobby!). Like all our bags, it's strong and refined at the same time, with its tricolour strap that enhances our renown colours. "Bowling"? A maxi-capsule of optimism to carry over your shoulder!
NEW RANGE OF BED LINEN & CUSHIONS
Also new this season: Mona, our full bed linen collection made with hemp.
At La Cerise, even if we still adore our beautiful percales, we’ve been thinking of hemp as an alternative to cotton for a while now. It’s a plant that saves resources and regenerates the soil where it grows from. Everything we love! Once harvested, our hemp is woven and dyed in Portugal, in the region of Porto. In the same network of artisanal workshops that have been with us since the beginning, partners and driving forces of our global project.
Human, sustainable, local, at La Cerise this constitutes our DNA, our warp and weft.
