VEGAN CHOCOLATE CAKE

INGREDIENTS  (FOR 2 PEOPLE)

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1 tsp cider vinegar

  • 3 ⁄ 4 cup coconut sugar 

  • 1 ⁄ 3 cup coconut oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 ⁄ 3 cup raw cacao powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder 

  • 1 ⁄ 2 tsp soda bicarbonate

  • a pinch of salt

PREPARATION  (FOR 2 PEOPLE)

1. Place the milk and vinegar in a small bowl, let sit for 5 minutes. Add sugar, coconut oil and vanilla. Mix well.

2.  In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients and incorporate the liquid ingredients, until you get a silky batter.

3. Place the dough in a greased mold, sprinkled with flour, and place in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool before savoring with vegan caramel.
